Bro beat Llan 3-0 in Anglesey derby and Holyhead Town thump Llanllyfni 7-1

In today's anticipated Anglesey local derby in the Gwynedd League, visitors Bro Goronwy overcame hosts Llanerchymedd by a 3 nil scoreline. Captain Sean Pritchard gave Bro an early sixth minute lead from the penalty spot and Alex Jones doubled the lead on 27 minutes. Llan's misery was complete when Andy Williams added a third, 15 minutes from time. Holyhead Town thumped visitors Llanllyfni 7-1 at Millbank with Craig Moore adding another three to his season's tally. Luke Miles, Barry Roberts, a Shane Boylan penalty and Casey Williams were also on the scoresheet for Holyhead with Carl Jones replying for a shell shocked Llyfni. Bontnewydd earned a rare point in a 1-1 home draw with Waunfawr. Guto Llywelyn gave Waun the lead on the half hour mark with Rhodri Dafydd responding for Bon, four minutes before the beak. Holyhead Hotspur won 4-2 at Llanfairfechan Town with Jordan Jones bagging a double for Hotspur. The match between Beaumaris Town and Bethel was postponed.

In the Gwynedd Safeflue Shield, Treaddur Bay and Bangor University needed penalties after both sides were deadlocked at 5 apiece after extra time. Bay prevailed 8-7 in the penalty shoot out.
