Penrhyn's cup tie called off at Bethel

Today's Cwpan Gwynedd Round One match between league leaders Penrhyndeudraeth and basement side Bethel was called off in midweek as a mark of respect for the late Mrs Nigel Smith whose funeral it is today. Similarly the league match at Llanystumdwy who were due to entertain Beaumaris Town was postponed for the same reason and the league wishes to extend its sincere condolences to both families.
