Holyhead romp home in Bob Owen Memorial Final

Holyhead Hotspur scored five second half goals against Bethel without reply to run away with the Bob Owen Memorial Shield in the Final played at Llangefni last night. But credit to Bethel who feel that they had the better of the Harbourmen in the opening 45 minutes and had the chances of being ahead at the break.

Scorers for Holyhead were Carl Hagan (15), Rees Brown (46),
Dean Garmey (51), Mike Edwards (55 & 65) and finally, Man of the Match, Luke Roberts (77).

The presentation was made at the end by Mrs Megan Owen, widow of the late Bob Owen, Chairman of the Gwynedd League for over 20 years.
