Gwynedd League's participation in this season's competition continues with some excellent results. A Steve Jones 35th minute goal was enough to see off Greenfield and Llanllyfni also accounted for higher opposition in beating Connahs Quay Town 3-2. Trearddur Bay also pulled a remarkable 4-2 away win at fellow Anglesey rivals Glantraeth whilst Penrhyndeudraeth pulled off a remarkable 5-4 in their first competitive match against Penyffordd thanks to a last gasp goal from Tom Hughes after Penrhyn had been 4-3 down with eight minutes left on the clock.
However, there was no luck for Beaumaris as they were thumped 7-1 at Brymbo and Llanystumdwy lost 0-3 at home to Llanfairpwll.
