Holyhead Town's long awaited return to the Gwynedd League began tonight with their opening match of the season against hosts Bangor City at Farrar Road following the FAW's decision to grant them membership of the League with Town eventually running out 3-2 winners to book their first points of the campaign. The visitors were off to a flyer when Craig Moore bagged the opener after only 3 minutes. However, Dylan Roberts levelled for the Citizens only to see Holyhead open up a two goal advantage with a quick fire double from Luke Miles on 25 & 28 minutes. Lance Williams pulled one back for Bangor on 73 minutes but Town held on for their first points of the campaign.
