Bangor City hopeful of switch to Nantporth

Stadium Switch

Bangor City will hope to move to their new home at Nantporth in January 2012 if work to their ground will be completed in time. The Citizens have been looking forward to move from their current Farrar Road ground over 10 years and work to the new 3000 capacity ground should be complete by the start of next year. With the existing stadium showing signs of ongoing deterioration and additional costs, the new ground will fully meet WPL requirements that also includes 600 covered seating and 200 uncovered. Bangor City's ultimate plans are to deliver a stadium that meets UEFA competition criteria and this will prove a massive challenge to the Club who are urging the supporters, the local community, the public bodies and the FAW to rise to the challenge.
