Hotspur in seventh heaven

A hat-trick from Dan Connolly gave Holyhead Hotspur a resounding 7 nil win away at Beaumaris - a result that moves Hotpsur to the top of the table. Dan McGuiness also scored twice for the Spurs. Two goals from the League's leading scorer Sion Parry gave Llanystumdwy a 2-1 win at Bontnewydd in the other League match played.

In the Gwynedd Meditel Cup, holders Llanerchymedd squeezed home against Bangor University courtesy of a Gavin Sharpe penalty, six minutes from time. In the Safeflue Shield, Waunfawr romped home, five nil winners over Llanllyfni with both Adam Jones and Rhodri Owen scoring twice for the hosts.
