Waun crash 5-1 to Prestatyn Sports in the NWCFA

CPD Waunfawr's hopes of winning the coveted NWCFA Intermediate Cup ended in disappointment tonight as they crashed to a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Vale of Conwy/Clwyd League Champions Prestatyn Sports at the Book People Stadium, Bangor City FC.

Waun's only consolation came courtesy of a stoppage time goal from substitute Jamie Farrelly, but credit to Lyndon Roberts and his squad, it was a fantastic achievement in reaching the final but, sadly and admittedly, were outplayed by a superior Prestatyn Sports' team.
