The Late Cyril Kitching

By Alun Foulkes

Death of Local Football Stalwart.

Mr. Cyril Kitching of Beaumaris sadly passed away on August 16th 2012 peacefully at his home.
He was a Life Member on the Anglesey Football League and had been Chair of the league.
Cyril was a person you could always rely on and very experienced in football in the area. He was vice President of the NWCFA, a member of the WAL, and was also involved with Beaumaris Football Club for many years
His knowledge of rules was first class and those who knew him had the utmost respect for him.
Although not involved as much with the game lately- suffering poor health, he was a football man and I know that everyone involved with the Anglesey Football League, past and present, will miss him and offer their deepest sympathies to his family, and friends, at such a very sad time in their lives,

As one previous member said, “Thanks Cyril for having the time to have known you and for so much advice you will be a great loss to the game.”

The Funeral details are in the Daily Post but briefly:-
`Public Service at St. Mary’s Church Beaumaris on Friday 24th of August at 11:00am.Followed by Committal Service at Bangor Crematorium’ no time quoted. Family Flowers only, but donations gratefully accepted, if so desired, to Beaumaris health centre per John O. Williams and Son [01248 810642]
