Holyhead Hotspur came from two goals down to win a 3-2 thriller at Bangor University last night to keep their title hopes alive. The win takes the Harbourmen level on points with leaders Llannerchymedd but have an inferior goal difference and have played two more games than their island counterparts. The Students began the match on fire and took the lead through Rees Nash on 15 minutes and this lead was doubled on 35 minutes when Daniel Sterna slotted home a spot kick.
The second period was a different story as Holyhead stormed back through a Jay Gibbs penalty on 68 minutes and soon levelled the match with ten minutes left via Luke M Roberts. Dale Murphy netted the vital winner with six minutes remaining.
