Beaumaris Town surprisingly ran out 5-1 winners against title contenders Mynydd Llandegai in the 1st Round of the Cwpan Gwynedd sponsored by Meditel. Iwan Morris gave Mynydd an early 2nd minute lead only for Darren ishmael to level for the hosts on 20 minutes. The rest of the match was about Andy Clarke as the striker scored four times between the 39th and 64th minute to secure safe passage into the last eight.

Holders Llannerchymedd are through to the last four after beating fellow Anglesey side Pentraeth 4-1 with all the goals coming in the opening first half. Deion Evans, Shaun Jenkins and a Patrick Roberts double were all on the Llan scoresheet with Rees Roberts replying for Pentraeth.
