A hat-trick from Adfam Jones booked Waunfawr passage into the next round in this Caernarfon derby against hosts Bontnewydd.

It needed extra time to separate these two sides as a Ryan Pollard goal on 21 minutes looked to have given Llyfni the win only for Ben Wolfenden to level as stoppage time loomed at the end of 90 minutes. Ryan Dodds then gave Llanfair the lead on 93 minutes only for Mathew Roberts to level the tie for Llanllyfni on 105 minutes. With penalties looking to be the outcome, Luke Fountain won the match for the hosts with a strike in the final minute. Llanfair's win gained revenge on Llanllyfni who had beaten them in similar fashion last week in the Bob Owen Memorial Shield.
