Bodedern Athletic took a huge leap in securing the league title and avenging their midweek cup exit after beating fellow front runners Bontnewydd 2-0 on their own ground. The Anglesey visitors virtually dominated proceedings from start to finish and the final score could have been more as Bontnewydd suffered their first defeat of the season.
Bodedern took the lead with a captain's goal from Casey Boylan (main picture) and wrapped up the three points with the decisive second from Ryan Taylor (also pictured) in the closing quarter of the match.
Bodedern, now guarantee themselves of finishing in the top two but will have to wait until the 25th May when they travel to Menai Bridge Tigers for their final league match.
