Round One results yesterday saw Bontnewydd thrash Y Glannau from the Vale of Conwy/Clwyd League 6-2 thanks to Sion Williams and Ian Pleming bagging a brace each for the hosts. Llanystumdwy's Sion Parrys' hot streak in front of goal continued as he bagged another hat-trick in their 3-3 draw against Kinmel Bay and needed penalties to make progress to the last 32. And finally, Talysarn Celts scored twice in the last 15 minutes on their travels to Anglesey side Pentraeth to win 4-1 with Glyn Hughes scoring twice for the Celts.
