By Alun Foulkes

Holyhead Town remain unbeaten

Holyhead Town remain unbeaten so far but were made to fight all the way by leaders Llanystumdwy, eventually winning 3-2. Paul England and Craig Moore gave the Islanders a two goal cushion inside quarter of an hour and when England added a third in the 57th minute, Holyhead looked comfortable. However, Paul Roberts scored twice after 65 & 70 minutes to leave a nail biting finale. Llanfairfechan Town moved up to second in the table after a 5-2 win at Bontnewydd. Llanfair were three up inside 40 minutes thanks to Gareth Jones, Josh Summers and Cai Jones before Alun G Williams reduced the arrears for Bont and added his second late on in the second half. Any hope of a recovery were dashed when Curtis Murray and Luke Williams gave the visitors a commanding lead with ten minutes remaining.Holyhead Hotspur recorded their second win of the season at basement side Bethel with Bryn Roberts, Simon Davies and Anthony Parry all on the scoresheet. Alan Hughes and Osian Everett replied for Bethel who were level at the break. On Friday night, Beaumaris Town came from behind to win 4-1 at Bangor City with Paul Ainsworth, Darren Ishmael, Nathan Davies and Dean Redmond all on target for Beaumaris.
