Weekend Round-Up

By Alun Foulkes

Mynydd lose ground with top two.

Mynydd Llandegai lost vital ground in their bid to win the League after being held to a goal less draw at home to Llanystumdwy. With only five matches left, Mynydd will look to win all five to stand any real chance of claiming the title.

Andy Clarke scored all Beaumaris goals in their 4-2 home win over strugglers Llanfairfechan. Clarke netted after 20/22/30 and 90 minutes with Billy J Osbourne and Daniel Almer replying for Llanfair, who led at one stage.

In the other League match played, Bontnewydd recorded a rare home win, beating Pentraeth 2-0 with Dylan Price and Simon Jones both on target in the first half.
