Gwynedd League membership confirmed

Written confirmation has been received this morning that the appeal submitted by both the Caernarfon & District Football League and the Anglesey Football League against a the decision of the Officers of the FAW has been dismissed following an Appeals Commission held in Llandrindod Wells on Thursday afternoon.

As a consequence, both CPD Penrhyndeudraeth and Holyhead Town FC are allowed to take their place in the Gwynedd Football League for the coming season and will begin their fixtures in two weeks time.

However, both the Area Feeder Leagues have the right of appeal against this decision and will need to consider whether to take the matter to Arbitration.

More information on this issue will be made known in the next few weeks
