Llannerch-y-medd go clear again

Llanystumdwy 2 Llannerch-y-medd 5

With rivals Holyhead Hotspur on cup duty, league leaders Llannerch-y-medd took the opportunity to reinstate their three point lead at the top with a vital 5-2 win away at Llanystumdwy. Barring a disaster, the title now most certainly is looking to go to the North East of Anglesey considering the opposition left for Llan. However, they will take nothing for granted and had to come from behind twice in this difficult match on the Lleyn peninsula. Josh Hughes gave the home side the lead inside five minutes, however, this was short-lived as Shaun Jenkins replied moments later. Lloyd Edwards restored Stumdwy's lead on 15 minutes only for the Islanders to take control by responding four times before the interval courtesy of a Gavin Sharpe double in the 21st and 26th minute, Dewi Thomas in the 34th and Jenkins again in the 37th minute.

Bangor University recorded their first league win of 2014 with a 3-1 win at Bontnewydd.
