Llanllyfni & Bro Goronwy out of the Welsh Cup

The Gwynedd League's participation in this season's Welsh Cup ended when both Llanllyfni and Bro Goronwy were dumped out in the second qualifying round yesterday afternoon. Llanllyfni succumbed at home Venture Community who ran out 3 nil winners and a depleted Bro Goronwy side made the long trek to Mid Wales and were thrashed 5 nil by Montgomery Town with four of the goals coming in a twenty minute second half spell for the hosts who are top of the Spar Mid Wales League.
