FAW Trophy Round One Draw Season 2015-2016 made today

By Alun Foulkes

The road to the 2016 Final begins

The Round One draw of the FAW Trophy has been completed with matches set to be played on Saturday, 15th August 2015.

The clubs will be hoping to emulate the success of Holywell Town, who won the competition last season following a 4-2 victory over Penrhyndeudraeth in the Final at Llandudno.

The stand-out tie of the regionalised Round One draw is the meeting of two former Welsh Football League clubs, Merthyr Saints and Cwmaman Institute.

South Wales Alliance League Premier Division outfit Merthyr Saints will be favourites to win this tie against their Division One rivals from the Cynon Valley.
