NWCFA Junior Cup Quarter Final Draw

Last Saturday saw holders Bro Goronwy beaten by a last gasp goal in a 3-2 thriller against fellow islanders Gwalchmai and finalists Waunfawr slumped to a 3-1 home defeat against Rhuddlan Town of the Vale of Conwy League. Nefyn United are through to the last eight at the expense of their neighbours Llanystumdwy but needed penalties (6-5) after both sides could not be separated at the end of extra time (1-1.). The ties between Llangoed v Holyhead Town and Caergybi v Bontnewydd were postponed due to waterlogged grounds and will be played this coming Saturday. The draw for the quarter finals are as follows:

Gwalchmai v Llansannan
Nefyn United v Rhuddlan Town (to be played on 10th March)
Valley v Bontnewydd
Holyhead Town v Rhyl FC Youth
