Played in front of a decent crowd of 250+ at Y Traeth, Porthmadog, Gwalchmai captured the Gwynedd Safeflue Shield after beating opponents Nefyn United in extra time thanks to a close range strike from Corey Sinnott after 113 minutes.

Earlier, Gwalch captain and man of the match, Craig Evans had put the islanders in the lead on 57 minutes only for Mark Dunn of Nefyn to level matters in dramatic fashion with the last kick in 90 minutes.
