after beating fellow rivals Bontnewydd 2-1.

A massive late surge to the season clinched Beffro the League's runners-up spot after the winner takes all clash against rivals Bontnewydd.

With Aberffraw starting the day only needing to avoid defeat, the match was a tense affair and ended goal less after the opening 45 minutes. Then just after the hour mark, they were awarded a penalty that was converted by Nathan Moore. With time running out, the issue was put beyond doubt as Connor Rees added a second for the visitors.

Gareth Edwards pulled one back for Bont with three minutes remaining but it was too little too late for the hosts who miss out having occupied one of the top two spots for nearly the whole season.
