3-1 in the Tarian Goffa Bob Owen Memorial Shield Final.

Bro Goronwy FC who finished runners-up in the League during midweek have added the Tarian Goffa Bob Owen Memorial Shield to their trophy cabinet after beating Nefyn United FC 3-1 in an entertaining final played last night at the Oval, Caernarfon.

Tristan Parry gave Nefyn United a narrow half time with a thunderbolt of a shot from 35 yards after 25 minutes only for that to be wiped out a minute after the restart from Bro's Taylor Jones who took his seasons' tally to 19. The match then went away from the Penllyn side as the Islanders scored another two in the next 20 minutes, both from youngster and man of the match Jac Thomas (pictured) who has also bagged 19 goals this term.

The shield was presented to Bro Goronwy FC's captain Dylan Jones after the final whistle by Mrs Megan Owen and the trophies have been kindly donated by Snowdonia Fire Protection Limited.
